100% of the proceeds raised stay right here in Athabasca to help fund THRIVE, a local intervention and prevention of relationship abuse program.
2018 was a year to remember. With a heavy snow fall just days before the event, we were concerned the attendance. Well, Athabasca didn't disappoint us. We had 29 walked and many members of the community come out and take a stand against sexualized violence against women.
As of September 29, 2018, $18,954.07 has been raised for the THRIVE program.
Thank you to all the men who participated and all the local companies who donated supplies and services to make the day a success. All monies raised stays right in the community to help those coping with relationship abuse through the THRIVE program.
