Love Is.... Silent Auction is NOW ON!
PRAAC has partnered with the senior high art classes at Edwin Parr Composite High School to create art work pieces in a multi-medium that they they feel comfortable working with, with the theme of "Love is....".
The staff at EPC then chose 6 pieces; and those pieces were donated to PRAAC.
For the month of March, these pieces will be on a silent auction to raise funds for PRAAC and the EPC art program.
From March 5 to 9, check our PRAAC's Facebook page for the on-line auction. The artwork will then transfer over to a paper silent auction, and will be displayed at the following locations:
March 5 to 9 - on display at Royal LePage County Realty

Love Is.... Silent Auction
PRAAC has partnered with the Art Tech Students at EPC. These commissioned pieces are art are being auctioned off (by silent auction) with the money being split between PRAAC (for the local relationship abuse prevention and intervention program) and the EPC Art Tech Program.
The students were given the theme of "Love is...." and they were allowed to create an art piece using their creativity, concept and design.
Love comes in many forms, so it is wonderful to see how the students interpreted Love.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project!

The candles were displayed at BuyLow Foods, the Athabasca Multiplex, the Athabasca Public Library, Value Drug Mart, Athabasca Health Services and Edwin Parr School. Thank you to those businesses and organizations for displaying the candles.
